I, you, we, they = haven’t (have not) + been + verbing
“I haven’t been playing guitar for very long.”

He, she, it = hasn’t (has not) + been + verbing
“She hasn’t been playing guitar for very long.”
Interrogativo
I, you, we, they = Have + subject + been + verbing
“Have you been playing guitar for very long?”

He, she, it = has + subject + been + verbing
“Has she been playing guitar for very long?”
​
“How long have you been playing guitar?”
Quando eu Preciso usar o Present Perfect Continuous?
​
Use o Present Perfect Continuous para descrever uma ação passada que está conectada ao presente, quando o verbo é dinâmico, a ação é repetida ou ainda não foi concluída.

Exemplos:

"I’ve been travelling with my friends on motorbikes for 30 years." (Tenho viajado de moto com meus amigos há 30 anos.)

"I’ve been studying English since 2022." (Tenho estudado inglês desde 2022.)

Regras importantes:

Se o verbo for de estado, use o Present Perfect Simple.

“I have known my best friend for 20 years.” (conheço meu melhor amigo há 20 anos)

Se a ação aconteceu apenas uma vez, use o Present Perfect Simple.

“I have eaten a sandwich today.” (Eu comi um sanduiche hoje)
​

Se a ação já foi concluída, use o Present Perfect Simple.

“I’ve just finished reading my book.” (Acabei de terminar meu livro)
​

Se você mencionar quantas vezes realizou a ação, use o Present Perfect Simple.

“I’ve moved house 10 times in my life.” (Tenho me mudado de casa dez vezes na minha vida)
